Without clear design standards, any overall e-Learning course evolves as a patchy, confusing set of pages - some well designed, some disastrous and all mere parts of a dysfunctional system. A lack of design standards also limits Web usage by imposing complex design decisions on new users; it is a daunting task to have to develop new graphic design and interface conventions instead of being able to adopt a professionally designed system of corporate intranet standards. Hence, Kalzoom recognizes that design and development standards are extremely important for e-Learning.
We understand that the advantages of consistent graphic design and user interface standards are immediately obvious in a user-centered approach to Web design.
All the courseware developed by Kalzoom is SCORM compliant. Advanced sequencing is implemented using either the IMS sequencing standard or SCORM 1.2. In order to preserve consistency in presentation, navigation, look and feel, we proceed in a structured manner by constructing content templates prior to beginning with any development. These templates take care of preserving a uniform color scheme, presentation theme, navigation structure, etc. |
